WELCOME TO THE AUTOMOTIVE DIVISION

Dedicated to quality repair and service for over 40 years we do it all from oil changes to engine overhauls. In 1968 Keith Anderson founder of the company started an automotive repair shop at age 16. Keith’s Dad let him work out of his garage at home. After Keith graduated high school he got a van and started doing mobile trouble shooting and light repairs at the customer’s 3house or where ever the vehicle was. That was called Automotive Therapy. Keith was considered the car doctor. That business grew to the point people wanted him to do more then tune-ups and trouble shooting. So he rented a one bay garage in downtown Midland as a base of operations.

In 1975 Keith had the opportunity to get his first service station. A Boron Station in Midland. With the work load that he and his staff now had and the running of the service station, there was not enough time for mobile work anymore. Most all work was done in house for then on. In 1978 he was growing out of the two bay Boron Service Station so they moved into a three bay Shell Service Station in downtown Midland. It didn’t take long and they were growing out of the three bay garage. They needed to expand again.

In 1980 he acquired another Shell Service Station on the corner of Saginaw Rd. and Patrick. Now he was running both the Downtown and the Saginaw Road Station.

In 1984 he thought it would be best to have all the repair work done in one location. He expanded the Saginaw Road Shell by adding three more bays. Now the Station had six service bays. The Service Department hours were also expanded to add a second shift of technicians. The service department was now open from 7:30 am to 11:30 pm Monday thru Friday. Customers really liked 2nd shift because they could drop off their car after work and pick it up on their way to work also businesses could have work done on their vehicles during their off hours.

Keith decided to expand into the Marine business in 1989. A boatyard in Essexville was acquired on the Saginaw River next to the Coast Guard Station. The Marine Division stores boats up to 35 Ton, does fiberglass work, wood work, air conditioning and refrigeration, electrical and mechanical repair.

In 1998 Keith closed the Shell Service stations and moved the Automotive Division to their present location on Patrick Road. They now have eight bays and are still open 2nd shift. Keith’s daughter and son-in-law are helping in managing the Automotive Division and still offers the same great service as before.
